📦 Data Storage

All caffeine intake logs, drink entries, and decay calculations you create in CaffeineHalf are stored exclusively on your device. Your data never leaves your device.

• No cloud sync — data exists only on the device where it was entered
• No backup to CaffeineHalf servers — we operate no servers
• If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device
• App preferences are stored in UserDefaults, on-device only

🚫 Data We Do NOT Collect

CaffeineHalf does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number)
• Caffeine or health data — this stays on your device only
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or any advertising ID)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports sent to third-party services
• Any information whatsoever

📡 No Analytics or Tracking

CaffeineHalf contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking libraries, and no third-party frameworks of any kind. The app makes no network requests for telemetry or data collection purposes.

• No Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel, no Crashlytics
• No advertising networks or attribution tools
• No A/B testing or remote configuration services

💳 Purchases and Payments

CaffeineHalf offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock premium features via the App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2.

• CaffeineHalf never sees, receives, or stores your payment information
• No credit card numbers, Apple ID credentials, or financial data passes through CaffeineHalf
• Purchase status is verified locally via StoreKit 2's on-device transaction verification

👶 Children's Privacy

CaffeineHalf does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected, the app is safe for users of all ages with respect to data privacy.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We will notify users of material changes through an App Store update description.

Continued use of CaffeineHalf after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
