📦 Data Storage

All quotes, authors, tags, categories, and notes you enter in QuoteBook are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's local storage frameworks. Your data never leaves your device.

• No cloud sync — data exists only on the device where it was entered
• No backup to QuoteBook servers — we operate no servers
• If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device
• App preferences are stored in UserDefaults, on-device only

🚫 Data We Do NOT Collect

QuoteBook does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number)
• Your quote collection or reading data — this stays on your device only
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or any advertising ID)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports sent to third-party services
• Any information whatsoever

📡 No Analytics or Tracking

QuoteBook contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking libraries, and no third-party frameworks of any kind. The app makes no network requests for telemetry or data collection purposes.

• No Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel, no Crashlytics
• No advertising networks or attribution tools
• No A/B testing or remote configuration services

💳 Purchases and Payments

QuoteBook is a one-time purchase app available on the App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

• QuoteBook never sees, receives, or stores your payment information
• No credit card numbers, Apple ID credentials, or financial data passes through QuoteBook
• The purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store

👶 Children's Privacy

QuoteBook does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected, the app is safe for users of all ages with respect to data privacy.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We will notify users of material changes through an App Store update description.

Continued use of QuoteBook after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
