Renewly Privacy Policy
Renewly is free to download, with an optional one-time Full Access in-app purchase. There is no subscription, and the app shows no ads.
Data Collection
Renewly does not collect or receive personal data on servers operated by the developer. The app has no account, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs.
The subscriptions you enter (service name, price, billing cycle, renewal date, notes, and your budget and display settings) are stored on your device. A summary of upcoming renewals is shared between the Renewly app, its widget, and its Siri and Shortcuts actions using Apple's App Group storage on your device.
iCloud Sync
If you have Full Access and turn on iCloud sync in Settings, your subscription data is stored in your private iCloud (CloudKit) database so it stays in step across your devices. It is managed by Apple under your Apple Account and is not accessible to the developer.
Receipt Import
When you paste a receipt or renewal email to fill in a subscription, the text is read on your device. It is not sent anywhere.
Notifications
If you turn on renewal reminders, Renewly asks for permission to send notifications and schedules them locally on your device. You can change this in the Settings app at any time.
Purchases
The Full Access purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive your payment information.
Advertising and Tracking
Renewly contains no advertising and does not track you. The developer does not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or analytics. If you turn on iCloud sync, your subscription data is stored in your own iCloud account by Apple.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete any subscription inside the app. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the synced data in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage.
