ParkingMemo Privacy Policy
ParkingMemo is free to download, with an optional one-time Full Access in-app purchase. There is no subscription. Your parking records are stored on your device; the app has a Share button that sends them only where you choose.
Data We Handle and Where It Is Stored
ParkingMemo does not collect or receive your personal data on servers operated by the developer. We operate no servers for the app.
- Parking records (GPS coordinates, floor, section, notes, optional parking-timer end time, timestamps) are stored on your device in the app's local storage (UserDefaults).
- Parking templates you save (name, floor, section, notes) are also stored in the app's local storage (UserDefaults).
- Photos you take or choose are stored on your device in the app's Documents folder.
- The current parking record's floor, section, notes, parking time, and parking-timer end time are also copied to a storage area on your device shared only with ParkingMemo's own widget (an App Group), so the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can show them. Anyone who can see your Home Screen or Lock Screen can see what the widget shows.
- If you set a parking timer, the app schedules local notifications on your device that include the floor and section. These are not sent through any server.
- The app does not sync to iCloud itself. Your device's own iCloud or computer backup may include the app's data according to your device settings.
Location
ParkingMemo asks for location permission (while in use) to record where you parked and to show the distance from your current position to the saved spot. The app requests a one-time reading when you start a record or when the distance is calculated. While the map of your current parking record is on screen, it also shows your current position using Apple MapKit, which updates that position while the map is displayed. The app does not track your location in the background. Coordinates are not sent to the developer.
Sharing
The "Share Parking Spot" button opens the system share sheet with the floor, section, notes, time, and an Apple Maps link containing the coordinates. What is sent, and to whom, is decided by you and the app you share to. Copies made that way are outside ParkingMemo and are not removed when you delete a record in the app.
Camera and Photos
Camera access is optional and is used only when you choose to take a photo of your parking spot. You can also pick an existing photo with the system photo picker. Photos are kept on your device and are not uploaded by the developer.
Notifications
When you set a parking timer while saving a parking record, the app asks for notification permission (iOS shows this request only once). Setting a timer later from the parking card ("Set Parking Timer") does not ask for permission; reminders are delivered only if you have already allowed notifications. Notifications are used only to remind you 10 minutes before the timer ends and when it ends. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings.
Maps
The app displays maps with Apple MapKit and can open Apple Maps for directions. Map tiles and map requests are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
The free version uses Google AdMob to display a banner ad on the main parking screen. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP address, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, crash logs, and performance data for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. The SDK's privacy declarations list approximate location (which Google may infer from the IP address), device identifiers, advertising data, product interaction, performance data, crash data, and other diagnostic data. Google's User Messaging Platform SDK, which the app uses for consent, declares that it collects approximate location, performance data, and product interaction for its own functionality and not for tracking. The app asks for consent through Google's User Messaging Platform where required and shows a privacy options button on the main screen while ads are displayed and the SDK reports it as required. The app requests ads only when the User Messaging Platform SDK reports that ads can be requested; if the consent check cannot be completed, the app follows the consent status the SDK already has from before. After the consent message, the app asks once for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt so that ads can be more relevant to you. If you allow it, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies; if you decline, the app still shows ads but the SDK does not receive the IDFA. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Full Access removes ads, and customers who purchased an earlier paid version also see no ads. The app does not pass your saved parking coordinates, notes, or photos to AdMob, and it has no other analytics or tracking SDK.

Purchases
The optional Full Access purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. ParkingMemo does not see or store your payment information and checks only whether the purchase is active on your Apple Account.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Name, email address, or phone number (no account is required).
- Your parking records, location history, or photos on any developer server.
- Background location.
- Health data or contacts.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete the current parking record and its photos in the app ("Clear Parking Spot", then "Delete"). Parking history and saved templates cannot be deleted one by one in the app. In the free version, saving a new record when history is full deletes the oldest history entry and its photos after you confirm. Deleting the app removes its records, photos, and settings from that device. Shared copies and device backups are not affected. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing to delete on our side. Device backups are managed by Apple.
Children
ParkingMemo does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.

お問い合わせ: support@smallappworks.com
