Tap the main Save button on the Home screen. ParkingMemo will capture your current GPS location. You can optionally take a photo and add a note (e.g., floor level, section number) to help you find your car later.

ParkingMemo uses your GPS location to record where you parked and show the distance to your car. You can open Apple Maps separately for directions.

• Location is captured when you tap the parked-here button to begin a record and when the app calculates the distance to the current record — no background tracking
• Parking records are stored only on your device and are not sent to Small App Works
• Location permission is required to create a parking record in the current version

The camera lets you take a photo of your parking spot, nearby landmarks, or your floor/section sign. This makes it easier to locate your car visually.

Camera access is optional. You can use ParkingMemo without it — GPS coordinates and notes work independently.

GPS accuracy depends on your environment. In open outdoor areas, accuracy is typically within 5–10 meters. In multi-story parking garages or underground lots, GPS signals may be weaker.

For parking structures, we recommend also taking a photo of the floor/section sign and adding a note with the level number.

Open ParkingMemo and view your saved parking spot. The app displays:

• A map showing the saved location relative to your current position
• Distance and direction to your car
• Your saved photo and notes for visual reference

Tap the map to open it in Apple Maps for turn-by-turn walking directions.

ParkingMemo stores all data locally on your device. To move your data to a new device, use an iCloud Backup or an iTunes/Finder local backup of your current device, then restore that backup on your new device.

If you set up a new device without restoring from a backup, your saved parking data will not transfer. However, since parking spots are typically temporary, this is usually not an issue.

All parking locations, photos, and notes are stored only on your device and are not sent to Small App Works. ParkingMemo contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
