📦 Data Storage

Text you enter in TextRuler for character, word, and paragraph counting is processed in memory only. No text is persisted unless you explicitly choose to save a preset or snippet.

• Any saved text presets are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard storage frameworks
• No cloud sync — data exists only on the device where it was entered
• No backup to TextRuler servers — we operate no servers
• If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device

🚫 Data We Do NOT Collect

TextRuler does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number)
• Text content you enter — this is processed in memory and never sent anywhere
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or any advertising ID)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports sent to third-party services
• Clipboard data beyond standard system paste functionality
• Any information whatsoever

📡 No Analytics or Tracking

TextRuler contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking libraries, and no third-party frameworks of any kind. The app makes no network requests for telemetry or data collection purposes.

• No Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel, no Crashlytics
• No advertising networks or attribution tools
• No A/B testing or remote configuration services

💳 Purchases and Payments

TextRuler is available as a one-time purchase via the App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

• TextRuler never sees, receives, or stores your payment information
• No credit card numbers, Apple ID credentials, or financial data passes through TextRuler
• There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions

👶 Children's Privacy

TextRuler does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected, the app is safe for users of all ages with respect to data privacy.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We will notify users of material changes through an App Store update description.

Continued use of TextRuler after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

TextRulerはお客様のデータを端末内にのみ保存し、外部サーバへの送信は一切行いません。入力されたテキストはメモリ上で処理され、明示的に保存しない限り永続化されません。アカウント登録は不要で、個人情報の収集・利用・第三者提供は行いません。

本アプリの決済はAppleのApp Storeを通じて処理され、TextRulerが決済情報を取得することはありません。
